This document is a starting template for the FounderOS MVP. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer and must be reviewed and adapted for your jurisdiction before a public launch.

1. The service

FounderOS is a software tool that helps founders structure business ideas, plan validation experiments, and track progress. It uses AI models to generate diagnoses, strategy, experiments, plans, reflections, and advisor responses based on the information you provide.

2. Your account

  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
  • You must provide accurate information and be legally able to agree to these terms.
  • You may stop using the service at any time.

3. Your content

You own the business ideas, notes, interview records, and other content you add. You give FounderOS permission to store and process that content only to operate the service, including sending relevant business context to our AI provider to generate responses.

4. Acceptable use

  • Do not attempt to access other users' data or disrupt the service.
  • Do not use automated means to generate excessive AI requests. AI features have limits on every plan, including fair-use limits on paid access.
  • Do not use the service for unlawful purposes.

5. Fictional advisor roles

The advisor roles (The Investor, The Customer Researcher, The Product Strategist, The Growth Advisor, The Execution Coach, The Contrarian, and The Customer Advocate) are fictional AI perspectives. They are not real people and are not affiliated with or endorsed by any real investor, entrepreneur, or company.

6. Disclaimer

FounderOS provides educational and strategic guidance. It is not legal, tax, accounting, investment, financial, or professional business advice. AI-generated recommendations may be incomplete or incorrect. Important decisions should be validated with qualified professionals and real customers.

FounderOS does not guarantee business success, revenue, funding, or profitability, and never marks an idea as validated on its own. Status labels summarize evidence you record. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

7. Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated in the app.
